Summary of Iryna Nikitina’s presentation
The conceptual framework of the Ukrainian system of national accounts in part related to household final consumption expenditures was defined in the presentation. The current state in the sphere of calculation of the household final consumption expenditures, methodology of their development, data sources and their presentation format was discussed. It was stressed that at this time the calculation of household expenditures was based on the Classification of Individual Consumption by Purposes. The methodological differences between the constituents of final consumption expenditures in national accounts and in the household living conditions survey as well as methodological conceptual differences between the index-deflator and consumer price index.
Conclusions and recommendations
To carry out the work on further application of the new data sources, in particular administrative reporting, in calculations.
To strengthen the work with users on the use of different statistical data according to the final purpose. To pay special attention on the weighting structure of the household final consumption expenditures and relevant price indices and deflators.
